Bubble Watch: Where there are things with 12 NCAA tournament hopes

With the selection on Sunday around the corner, the teams will soon learn their fate. Have you built a convincing case for a large bid? Do you have to strengthen your curriculum vitae with conference tournaments? Or do you need an automatic offer to qualify for the big dance?

Everyone is decided early enough.

Fox Sports Bracket forecast button in Thursday, Fox Sports Bracket Mike Decourcy Had San Diego State, IndianaPresent Xavier And North Carolina As his last four teams to get to the tournament while TexasPresent Ohio stateWake Forest and UC Irvine were the first four teams from Decourcy.

Dayton, Boise State, Colorado State and George Mason were listed as the next four teams from Decourcy from the NCAA tournament.

So things are with these 12 Bubble teams from Thursday evening.

Record: 21-9
Conference tournament result: Lost against Boise State (62-52)

What it means: The state of San Diego is exposed to the mercy of the committee. The Aztecs and Broncos each fought for the bladder and there is probably a place between the two teams. The Aztecs have to hope that their two victories of the regular season against Boise State are more valuable than the loss of the Mountain West tournament on Thursday. The Aztecs also have more quality wins than the Broncos, including a 73-70 victory against No. 3 Houston on November 30th. If the Aztecs had hit the Broncos, they would probably have made a trip to March Madness, so this result is difficult to make the committee's decision.

Record: 19-13
Conference tournament result: Lost to No. 23 Oregon (72-59)

What it means: Indiana will sweat on the selection Sunday. It could be able to go in both directions for the Hoosiers, who may have had a place in the tournament with one or two wins in the conference tournament. Instead, you have to wait to see a few other bubble teams.

No. 9 Indiana against No. 8 Oregon Highlights | Big ten tournament

Record: 21-11
Conference tournament result: Lost to No. 25 Marquette (89-87)

What it means: The musketers had torn down seven victories in the Big East tournament, although none of them were quad 1 victory. A two-point defeat against a tournament caliber team in Marquette should not hurt the musketers very much, but a victory would have stamped their trip to the big dance. Instead, it is a close call for the team of Sean Miller when choosing on Sunday.

Record: 22-12
Conference tournament results: Beat Notre Dame (76-56) and Wake Forest (68-59); Will play No. 1 Duke on Friday

What it means: After the Tar Heels lost 82-69 against Duke on Saturday, they came against Duke with two wins to open the ACC tournament to the outside and after entering 82-69. You have another tear on the Blue Devils, which could be without a Star Cooper Flag. This game will probably determine the UNC NCAA tournament. North Carolina and Xavier have very similar résumés, since everyone only has a win against Quad 1 opponent. Even with a loss against Duke, the success of the Tar Heels in the ACC tournament could take a leg to you the Musketeers and other Bubble teams that lost early in the conference tournament.

Record: 19-14
Conference tournament results: Beat Vanderbilt (79-72) and No. 14 Texas A & M (94-89, 2ot); will play on Friday No. 8 Tennessee

What it means: Texas achieved a highly competitive victory against Texas A&M in double overtime. The record of the Longhorns in the conference game was only 6-12, but they were impressed by the quarter-finals of the Sec tournament. A victory against the volunteers would almost guarantee the invitation from Texas to the dance, but the Longhorns have a strong case, even if they lose on Friday.

Record: 17-15
Conference tournament result: Lost to iowa (77-70)

What it means: The Buckeyes, who have lost five of their last seven games, have a victory against one of their co -bubble teams (Texas) this season. Is that enough with important victories over Purdue and Kentucky to sneak into the tournament? Probably not.

Record: 21-11
Conference tournament result: Lost against North Carolina (68-59)

What it means: The demon deacons have no big argument and their loss against colleagues in North Carolina does not help. Apart from a surprise, Wake Forest will land on the wrong side of the bladder.

Record: 27-5
Conference tournament result: Will play the winner of the Cal Poly-UC-UK-Riverside on Friday

What it means: The forwarders have built a robust case for a large offer. Unfortunately, her big West -Rival, UC San Diego, could be a convincing. The Tritons won the title of the regular season and are the only seed in the Big West tournament. Preparations most likely have to win the tournament and receive an automatic offer, which could lead to both teams making the NCAA tournament.

Record: 22-9
Conference tournament result: Saint Joseph will play on Friday

What it means: The third in the A-10 will be the flyer in the disadvantage and in a place where you will probably have to win the conference tournament to carry out the NCAA tournament. However, Dayton defeated VCU, the A-10 champions of the regular season, in the season finale on March 7. If the flyers can reproduce this performance, the A-10 could also be a two-bid league.

Record: 23-9
Conference tournament results: Beat San Diego State (62-52); Will play New Mexico on Friday

What it means: The victory of the Broncos against the Aztecs has increased its case for a place in the big dance, since both teams are in the bladder. Boise State had won five of his last six come at the Mountain West tournament. A victory against the regular season champions of Mountain West, New Mexico, would help the Broncos, but if you want to give a place in March Madness, you will probably have to win the conference tournament.

Record: 23-9
Conference tournament results: Beat Nevada (67-59); will play Utah State-Onelv's winner on Friday

What it means: The winners of their last seven games of the regular season are one of the hottest teams in the nation. They used to put themselves in a hole this season when they lost successive games to UC Riverside and Washington, and had no plenty of opportunities to dig up because they only played six Quad 1 opponents and are 1-5 in these games. Like Boise State, the state of Colorado may have to win the Mountain West tournament to block a place at the NCAA tournament, and if these two teams compete on Saturday, this would lead to a tempting fight.

Record: 24-7
Conference tournament result: Will play George Washington on Friday

What it means: The record of the patriots may seem impressive, but it is not their résumé. Every slip in the A-10 tournament will probably get George Mason out of the dispute over the NCAA tournament.
