Bulldogs win gold in 200 Medley Relay; Shatter two team records on the first day of the Ivy League championship

Providence, RI – The Yale Herren Swimming and Diving Team had an excellent start to the Ivy League championship on Wednesday evening. The 200 Medley relay team set up a new program record and demanded gold, while the 800 Free Relay team also broke the team record and received silver.

After a day of the competition, Yale is in first place with 120 points, followed by Princeton with 112 and Harvard in third place with 108.

  • The 200 Medley relay time was only shy with 1: 23.79.
  • The 800 freestyle relay time was the second fastest in the meeting of the meeting, and Princeton won the event with the fastest time of 6: 13.75.
