Golden bears start with three games on Duke Friday

Santa Clara – The California Baseball Team (6-6) dropped the final of a four-game series with Santa Clara (7: 4) in the Stephen Schott Stadium on Monday evening. The game was goalless until the Broncos broke through with a run at the end of the fifth and then scored eight times in half of the seventh to move away.

The game included a rare game when Cade Campbell Apparently, the competition bound four poles with an explosion in the left field with an explosion in the left field, but was called for its first basis on his journey around the bases.

Campbell (1-4, 2b) was able to extend his career hit series to six games with a first inning double. Jarren Advincula Cals had the only other hit with a leadoff double in the third inning, which extended his hit series to five in a row.

Oliver de la Torre Was the second of Cals seven jugs and the most effective with 3.0 goalless innings who scattered a goal, two walks and a wild field while he was four.

Cal opens the Atlantic Coast Conference this Friday to Sunday with a three game series at Duke. The games will mark the first ACC competitions of the Golden Bears. The first place for the opener on Friday is set at 1 p.m. PT.
