Camo cannot hide a criminal – Stafford County Sheriffs Office

“You want to go where everyone knows your name” was the choir in the cheers' title song, but it certainly does not apply to suspicious suspects who come in Stafford County!

Yesterday at 11:32 a.m., the deputy Alford learned that the 38 -year -old Travis Ward from Spotsylvania had currently operated a Red Pontiac G6 in North Stafford. This is important, not only was a driver's license missing, he was also sought in Stafford, Spotsylvania and Fairfax. Why was it safe to get in Stafford County is just as much a mystery as the great uncondition.

The deputy Alford found the station, which drives in a west direction on the Garrisonville Road near the Staffordboro Boulevard. A traffic stop was tried, but was accelerated by the American automobile via a strip of grass into the parking lot of Jiffy Lube. There was no stop for an oil change when Ward continued on the Clement Drive and initiated a persecution.

Ward turned right into the Staffordboro Boulevard and ignored the red traffic signal when he turned left into the Garrisonville Road in East. Deputy Alford took the opportunity to use a deliberate vehicle contact to end the persecution in the 100 Block of the Garrisonville Road.

Unfortunately, Ward was able to avoid a complete shoot of the Pontiac and drove over the median, which led to the east in the alleys. He only made it a few meters before he met an SUV in a west direction and ended his flight with the vehicle. Fortunately, there were no injuries in the crash.

Ward continued from the Pontiac to continue the chase to the parking lot of the aptly named Chase Bank. Ward's camouflage shirt did little to hide it in the urban environment. Even in the small trees next to the bank, it was easy to see.

The foot tracking lasted the front of Jersey Mike, where it seemed to be pausing in front of the brick facade. Again the camouflage was ineffective and Ward was immediately tackled by a detective from Spotsylvania.

Ward was delivered to the outstanding arrest warrants and added the indictment, crime, crime, crime and dangers, ruthless driving, possession of drug utensils, no license, disregard for a traffic signal, no registration, no insurance and no seat belt. He was recorded in the Rappahannock regional prison without bond.

Many thanks to the Sheriff office of the Spotsylvania County for her support in this concern.
