The Wilmette Village Board of Trustees will soon have at least two new trustees, since only one incumbent for three available places for three available places.

Justin Shepherd, a financial professional, is looking for his second term on the board, while Mark Steen, Ryrie Pellaton and Michael Leonard come to him on the ballot paper and are looking for their first full term.

Steen, a sustainability manager for a science and technology company, was recently two office hours in the school authority Wilmette District 39. Pellaton, a construction professional, is a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and a former member of the Wilmette Park Board.
