Canton McKinley DS Up in the district finale (video)

Akron, Ohio Medina, was a large part of her district Final Canton McKinley, but the length and athletics of the bulldog have proven too much for a team without one of his biggest and sportier players.

In the end, the bulldogs reduced a network and coach Sean Weatherspoon took it against the bees after his team's 64: 51 victory.

McKinley (19-5) will be on the regional semi-finals in Kent State against Toledo Whitmer next week. To get there, the Bulldogs received 22 points from Reed Sims Jr. and 13 from Junior Anthony Chavers.

Kellon Johnson led Medina (11-13) with 16 points, while Bryce Aufra 15 for a team that had played without a 6-foot 8 striker Jase Holland, 15 for a team that had played with a cameraman in Massillon Jackson in the district injury at the beginning of a collision.

See McKinley's performance with the video above and hear from Weatherspoon with Sims and Chavers.
