Capcom promises “This is only the beginning for the next generation of Monster Hunter”, since Wilds destroys sales milestones: “The guild authorizes this celebration!”

Monster Hunter Wilds is a certifiable, record comprehensive success, and Capcom says that it is only the beginning of a new generation for the action RPG series.

Monster Hunter Wilds started out on February 28th on February 28th, where our own report awarded the game 4.5/5 stars and called “the new highlight of the series and an early candidate for Game of the Year”. For the short time between Wilds' start and the new cooperative excursion from Hasmonight, Split Fiction, it was the best rated 2025 game with a highly respected 90 METSCORE.
