Man has violently attacked a woman without provocation while screaming racist dirt

The 38 -year -old Jesse Allen Lindsey, who was homeless at the time of the attack, announced in December 2024 guilty of a counting of a national hatred. He has been in federal custody since July 2024. The US district judge Michael W. Fitzgerald convicted the judgment and described the incident as a “shocking and terrible crime”. Lindsey was convicted of 51 months in the federal prison for a racially motivated attack on an Asian American woman in Culver City, the US Ministry of Justice said on Monday.

The attack occurred in the early morning hours of June 14, 2021 when the victim went to work. According to the public prosecutor, Lindsey followed the woman, called her racist insult and said to her: “You don't belong here.” Moments later he hit her violently into his head and hit her to the ground.

When the victim was on the street, Lindsey continued his verbal attack and shouted: “They hear what I said. [N-word]? I said good morning, bitch! “

Rescue workers arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a hospital for head and ear injuries. According to the prosecutors, she could not work for a month and, according to the prosecutors, continue to suffer from long -term psychological trauma.

After the attack, Lindsey fled from California after seeing media reports about the incident. The authorities later found him in a Californian state prison, in which he served time for an unused condemnation.

Judge Fitzgerald noticed Lindsey's extensive crime history, who tried 13 earlier convictions for crimes such as firearms and narcotics injuries, domestic battery, Grand theft and blackmail. He also had 14 violations of probation or pre -judicial release and 19 additional arrests or law enforcement contacts.

During an interview with investigators, Lindsey admitted that he had beaten the victim, but incorrectly claimed self -defense. He described the five foot high, 120 pound woman as a “mature little Asian person” and suggested that she could possibly have martial arts and said she could “pull some jet li [expletive]. ““ In contrast, Lindsey is over six feet and weighs about 250 pounds.

The FBI headed the investigation with considerable support from the Culver City police department. The case was pursued by the deputy US lawyer Lindsey Greer Dotson.
