Casey Desantis reacts to speculation about the potential governor in Florida during the Fiu visit

MIAMI – Ron Desantis, Governor of Florida, and First Lady Casey Desantis stopped on Friday at Florida International University, where speculation continued to use their potential run for the governor in 2026.

During a press conference, Casey Desantis was asked directly whether she is considering an offer for the successor to her husband from the local 10 -news reporter Christina Vasquez.

She steered and offered a cryptic reaction.

“I would say one thing – to quote the deceased, great yogi berra: if you get on the street, take it,” said Casey Desantis.

Ron Desantis continued to press and suggested that many encouraged them to run.

“I have people who come to me for years and ask them to get them into battle,” he said. However, Casey Desantis has not confirmed or rejected any plans, which left her political future open to interpretation.

The governor also used the event to announce a new initiative with public universities and municipal administrations, in which he explains that he describes “Doge” institutions “Doge” stages in all of Florida.
