Cattle -Flucht -Scheunfeuer near Newcomerstown

Newomane first – all animals made it from a municipality in Oxford before it burned to the ground early Thursday morning.

Chef Jeff Parks says that the call had come from the 13000 block of the River Road Road Southwest shortly after 3:30 a.m. He says the barn is fully on fire when firefighters arrived. He says that the 50 x 100 feet high barn and the equipment inside are a total loss, but the owners have safely brought their cows out of the barn.

Six other departments assisted newcomer. Firefighters were about six hours on site.

According to the parks, the cause of the fire is still being examined. He had no damage, but he suspects that this will be important in view of the devices lost in the fire.

This was the second big fire in this area in less than 48 hours. Parks says that a house in a few miles away was destroyed on Tuesday morning on the dog road SW. The cause of this fire is also examined.

There is a Gofundme account for the family who is involved in the house fire on Tuesday. It is for Todd Kahn, Crystel McLaughlin Kahn and her four boys who have lost everything in the fire. The Gofundme page says that the family members are in order, but a pig and a puppy needed medical help, and some ducks and chickens died in the fire.
