Cavs Guard Darius Garland “tends” to play Tuesday against magic

The Cleveland Cavaliers could be without a all-star point Guard Darius Garland, since he is classified as questionable against Orlando Magic with a hip injury for the game on Tuesday. He suffered the injury to the victory on Friday against the New York Knicks. The injury remained him with the Memphis Grizzlies from victory on Sunday.

After the game on Sunday, Cavalier's head coach Kenny Atkinson stated that he was not concerned that this was a problem.

“My amateur opinion is that this is likely [a] one [game absense]«, Said Atkinson after the victory on Sunday. “I'm not in the long term. I would assume that he will be finished very soon. I won't guarantee the next game, but I would say, you know [it’s] Tend in this way. “

Garland missed only three games for the CAVs this season. All three led to Siegen for Cleveland. This trend is not guaranteed against Orlando if Garland cannot go.

Although magic has to struggle, they have an impressive defense that can cause problems for ball traders. Ty Jerome appeared in Garland's absence against another good defense in Memphis on Sunday. He will probably have to do something similar if the cavs' offensive will continue to buzz without garland.

Atkinson decided to start on Sunday instead of Garland Isaac Okoro. There is no guarantee that would happen again if Garland is not available on Tuesday.

After the victory against Memphis, Atkinson said that the decision to go with Okoro was Morant because of the matchup. He mentioned that this thought began either de'andre Hunter or Dean Wade. With Orlando's length on the wing, it seems more likely that either Hunter or Wade would start if Garland cannot play.

Garland has its best season as a professional. He achieves an average of 21.3 points and 6.7 templates per game for the efficiency of the career (58.9 effective field target percentage).

No other cavaliers are with injuries in the injury report. Cleveland's three two-way players were excluded with Orlando for the game on Tuesday. The magic will be without Jalen Suggs (quad) and Mo Wagner (knee).
