Cedar Rapid's man who is charged with the shot of the death of the Doorash driver

Cedar Rapids, Iowa (KCRG) – A man from Cedar Rapids, who is charged with murder, took the view in his own defense.

Cameron Leonard will be charged in October 2023 when a Doordash supplier died.

The investigators say that Leonard and his brother Maurice Brown have confronted Myron Snyder after Snyder delivered an apartment building in Cedar Rapids.

They say Brown shot on Snyder, and Snyder shot back and killed Brown. The investigators say that Leonard Snyder shot.

Leonard's defense team argued that he acted in self -defense and described it as the first witness as a self -defense expert for the stand.

Leonard then set up. He says his brother ordered food during a family game evening. Then they noticed that the delivery driver had the same name that Leonard said that his brother had “problems in the high school”.

Leonard described the moments that led to shootout. He says he said Snyder that he should go and not come back, and then he says that the shootout started.

Final arguments are expected to begin on Wednesday afternoon. Leonard is in prison before life when he is convicted of murder's first degree.
