Celebrate the feud: The Bilicki-Wright-Nacar rivality is reinforced

The Nascar XFinity series has always been a breeding ground for rivalries with a high octane. But the latest feud has conquered the racing world in the storm, whereby the tensions of incidents on the route escalate to comprehensive social media warfare. At the center of these controversy are two drivers: Josh Bilicki, a former member of Joe Gibbs Racing, and Kris Wright from our motorsport.

The feud that has now become a sensation of the fans is pursuing their roots at the start of the season in Daytona. Wright plunged into the pit lane in the back of Bilicki's car in another maneuver in Bilicki's car. Although the encounter had his car damaged, Bilicki managed to end the race in the 14th position. Bilicki remembered the shattering incident and explained: “I just saw the video … someone came hot, hot, hot.”

The rivalry was still enthusiastic about the XFinity Series Race in Cota. The tensions were high with both drivers who wanted to bounce off their rocky start. While Bilicki was punished in the pit lane due to speed crossing, Wright divided the traffic. The two drivers collided again, with Bilicki going to social media to radiate his symptoms. He wrote: “We calculated forward until the 5 car turned right in front of us and got into me … against … and cost us about 25 seconds.”

Wright, who had never jumped back, quickly opposed Bilicki's accusations and explained: “Outside of you, you detached yourself.” This answer only added fuel to the fire and prompted Bilicki to expand:

Bilicki's five-word-wearing-“stepped again viral” and caused a social media frenzy from the Nascar fans. But Bilicki wasn't finished yet. He continued Wright and advised him to return to the IMSA series, where he “doctors and dentists in LMP3”.

Bilicki's frustration about Wright was not only isolated for these incidents. He expressed dissatisfaction with Wright's recurring disruptive behavior and said: “I tried to give them the advantage of doubt to Daytona,” continued Bilicki: “But to be honest, it was out of control.”

Wright's aggressive driving style was a topic of the debate between fans and analysts alike. After examining the incident in the Daytona Pit Lane, the experts came to the conclusion that Wright was to blame and put speculation about braking failure and miscommunication of spotters in peace. After similar incidents in Martinsville, his behavior on the track was questioned in 2022, where he performed a multi-car wreck and the Charlotte Motor Speedway, where he fell against a wall.

After both drivers will compete on the Phoenix Raceway next week, all eyes are aimed at this escalating feud. Will cooler heads predominate, or will this rivalry continue to heat and become the highlight of the 2025 season? Only time will show it.
