Celebrations for St. Patrick's Day bring more crowds to downtown Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs, Colorado (KKTV) – although St. Patrick's Day only started the celebrations early on Monday in downtown Colorado Springs.

With the parade on Saturday morning and the celebrations all day there was no shortage of something that had to do in the city center, especially in a company that saw additional business at this time of year.

Jack Quinn's Pub Downtown has created an authentic Irish experience. Manager Meredith Klube likes to see full of life in the city center.

“It is so much more lively, so many other people who walk around,” said Klube.

But the Americans weren't the only ones who celebrated in the sources.

Paula Lynch comes from Ireland, but lives in South Colorado, and she could argue that Americans have more fun with the Irish holiday.

“It is an astonishing time, sometimes the Americans of St. Patrick's celebrate even better than the Irish,” said Lynch, “the parades are bigger, they do everything, really go out.”

But overall, the vacation is about bringing people together in a happiness.

“Klube saw all these familiar faces, hugs, friends,” said Klube, “everyone has so much atmosphere.”

The party does not stop when the weekend ends, Klube said that Jack Quinn will celebrate St. Patrick's Day this Monday.
