Central Altadena Little League begins new season after Eaton Fire has destroyed her home field

Pasadena, California (KABC) – Players from the Central -Altadena Little League are slowly gaining a feeling of normality after the devastating Eaton Fire has destroyed their home field in Farnswark in Altadena.

But thanks to a helping hand from the West Pasadena Little League, the teams are back on the field and get going again.

“The majority of Altadena was destroyed during the Eaton Fire. We didn't have a field to play. So Western Pasadena opened her field to us so that we could practice. So now we are playing here,” said Aa Orioles coach Brian Gardner.

Many of the players have also lost their houses. Trainers said that as a team they came together to raise the players and to offer a certain stability during the chaotic period.

“It is a time to get away, it is a time and it's a nice publication,” said Gardner.

“I'm so excited because the coach is my father and I am able to look,” said player Golden Gardner.

Despite the challenging path to recovery, the teams remain determined to rebuild and look forward to a new season.

“I thought together.

“Love is just as overwhelming as the pain. And the fact that you have opened your field for us and allowed us to play and continue our season so that our children do not miss our season,” said Gardner.
