Chamber starts a “coolest in Florida” tone competition

The Florida Chamber of Commerce launched the “Coolest in Florida” competition in order to underline the importance of the state -processing trade.

The nominations for the competition are open until May 31. Companies and the public are asked to appoint a product in Florida. The winner is determined by an election format in a bracket style. The products will compete by gaining any popular coordination.

Mark Wilson, President and CEO of the Chamber President, said that the competition should help promote the manufacturing industry in Florida.

“The production is an important driver of the Florida economy, which employs more than 421,000 Floridians and contributes to exports of over 68.9 billion US dollars,” he said. “This competition will not only present the innovation of the manufacturers of Florida, but also create the importance of more creating more in Florida and exporting more from Florida.”

Florida occupies 11th place for the production of jobs. The goal of the state production manager is to be among the top 5 by 2030. According to the Chamber of Commerce, all 10 jobs in state production create 20 positions in logistics, law, finance and storage.

“Manufacturers play an important role in the diversification of the Florida's economy, and this nationwide competition is an opportunity to present the outstanding products produced here,” said Katie Yeterter, Chief Operating Officer.
