Charlottesville, VA (Cvillerightnow) – The victim of a reported attack at the beginning of this month near the 4th Street NW and the Preston Avenue died according to an updated publication by the Charlottesville police department.
David Harrison Taylor Sr. died on March 16, 2025, five days after he was no longer reacted to the street after a discussion. Officers who were dismantled on March 11 at 9:21 p.m. provided life -saving measures until doctors arrived and transported them to the UVA Medical Center.
An autopsy was carried out on March 17 by the Chief Medical Examiner office in Richmond. The cause and type of death remain indefinite until further tests. The police say that the investigation is still active and continuous.
The person, who was 41-year-old Timothy Wooden from Charlottesville in the first incident, remains in custody in the regional prison of Albemarle-Charlottesville. He was initially charged with assault and battery, and the police say that additional fees are pending.
