The upcoming iPhone 17 air from Apple is expected to be the “slimest iPhone ever”, but new leaks indicate that the camera bond could be pronounced. According to the well-known tipper ice universe, the camera bodies of the device measures 4.4 mm. In combination with the expected total thickness of 5.5 mm of the phone, the total thickness in areas in which the reversing camera is located would take the overall thickness to 9.5 mm, and Android headlines. The iPhone will probably pack a 48-megapixel main camera, but may not have telo-zoom functions.

In January of this year, the Apple Supply Chain Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo proposed that the iPhone 17 air would be 5.5 mm thick at its slimest point. Kuo even mentioned that the ultra-thin iPhone 17 model will enter mass production in the second half of 2025.

Before Kuo's prediction, the Apple analyst Jeff PU speculated in November 2024 that the iPhone 17 -air would be 6 mm thick.

These contrasting predictions underline the uncertainty that surrounds the final design because Apple firmly liquidates according to the iPhone 17-air.
