Chelsea Youngster favored to start with the coming March

Chelsea has no options for the wing and this can lead to an important opportunity for Youngster Tyrique George. Jadon Sancho has not impressed in the past few months, Pedro Neto is playing as a center forward, and Mykhailo Mudryk is still suspended, so Enzo Maresca is not yet available.

In the last game of the Premier League, Maresca Sancho started on a wing and Christopher Nkunku on the other, with the latter playing the much better game. Nkunku scored a goal before he came in the final phases of the game when he finally felt relieved.

Sancho also had a solid game, but was replaced by George in the 68th minute and the youngster had an effect on the game. 10 minutes after George jumped past the full -back in Southampton and set a perfect ball for Marc Cucurella for the fourth goal of the night.

After George impressed against the saints and other recent Cameo appearances, she is on the way to earning another start for the blues in the UEFA Conference League or the Premier League. George last started in the UECL with a 5-1 win against Shamrock Rovers in December and was called to Copenhagen in the first leg of the last 16 Matchup.

The Chelsea Academy product was advertised as a potential replacement for Nico Jackson as a center forward. Since Neto has the best option for the management, George is a replacement for the largely ineffective Sancho or even Nkunku, who has not been willing to run with defenders.

George presents Nkunku a different physical profile that prefers the ball at his feet and creates opportunities with his tricks. The youngster has a lot of speed and can use it to keep the Copenhagen defense on the toes with his physicality.

He still has to record a goal for the Senior Chelsea squad, but has three templates for his name in 13 appearances. In the teams of Chelsea U23 and U19, he was much more productive with 14 goals and 13 templates in his last 40 games in both squads. He is one of the most rated young people in the Chelsea setup and did enough to earn a start in some of the important games in March.
