Chet Hanks seems to be a Tom Cruise fan.

Tom Hank's son made sure that his appearance of the talk show was reminiscent of one of the most unforgettable moments in daily television history during the day.

The actor who plays Travis bugg in Running pointpast The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday, March 18, and tribute to Tom Cruises legendary couch jumping moment of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

“This is my first time in a talk show,” said Hanks, 34, to a visibly surprised Drew Barrymore. But he was not only there for an informal conversation – he had a plan. “There is something I've always wanted to do,” he teased before he asked for permission to do it.

Hanks ensured that the audience was on board and pulled it up.

The crowd naturally delivered.

With a countdown of three seconds, Hanks jumped on the couch with his hands in the air and perfectly reflected the viral moment of cruise from 2005 when he famous with joy while he confessed his love for Katie Holmes.

Barrymore broke out when Hanks committed himself to the piece, even went down on a knee and triumphed his fist – just like Cruise did almost 20 years ago.

“Okay, that was good,” said Hanks when he sat down again and looked satisfied with his performance. To be sure that his homage ended up with the audience, he asked himself to the audience and asked: “Do you get the reference?”

Barrymore didn't miss a blow.

“Oh my god, Tom Cruise? Yes, of course!” called it. “Oh, I love it!”

Hanks' energetic rework comes shortly before the 20th anniversary of the legendary talk show moment of cruise -to make some pop culture moments just too good to forget it.
