Chicago (WLS) – A man from Cicero was charged on Sunday because of the death of a woman, the Chicago police said.

The shootout occurred on Sunday in the 7600 block of the S. Ingleside Avenue, the Chicago police said.

CPD officers responded to a wellfare check at 6 a.m. and found a non -reacting victim.

The victim was a 35-year-old woman, she had been shot in her arms.

She was taken to the hospital where she died.

Bobby Thornton from Cicero was arrested and charged with her murder. He was arrested about 20 minutes after the police arrived.
