Ravenswood House Fire sends man to the hospital: CFD

A Chicago fire in the North Oakley Avenue in Ravenswood sent a man to the hospital on Thursday evening, said CFD.

Chicago (WLS) – A man was taken to the hospital after a fire to the north side of Chicago on Thursday evening.

Chicago Fire Crews fought around 5:30 p.m. around 5:30 p.m. for a house fire in the 5100 block of the North Oakley Avenue in Ravenswood

Flames could be seen how he shot through the roof of the house and were visible at one point.

The fire was out before 6 p.m., said CFD.

The man was brought to the Swedish Federal Hospital in an unknown state, Chicago said fire officer on site.

It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
