CHP persecution ends in fatal shooting in Winnetka

After a police persecution in Winnetka, a man was fatally shot by California Highway Patrol Officers on Wednesday morning.

The persecution began when the officials discovered an unpredictable and frenzied driver near Devonshire and Mason.

The persecution ended in a dead end in the Sunnybrae Avenue between the streets of Lassen and Mayall.

Then the suspect left the vehicle in a white van as he held a pistol.

CHP officers opened the fire, which led to the death of the suspect.

The suspect's family stated that he lived in the area and was 21 years old.
