Chris Barclay, Louisville Football RBS Talk Start of spring practice

Louisville, Ky. – The Spring Ball continues directly to the Louisville football program. The cardinals are already in their over -month spring practices for a week, which are completed on Friday, April 11th with the annual spring game.

While there is a handful of question markings in a certain position in the team, one of them is where none runs back. The cardinals had an average of 185.2 rushing yards per game last season and had one of the best one or two strokes in the nation to run the real newcomer duo Isaac Brown and Duke Watson.

Since Louisville takes her first steps to prepare for the 2025 season, you want to build this incredibly hot season that runs the ball.

“It is impressive to have experiences in two really, really talented people,” said Chris Barclay, coach of Running Backs. “Just to see the growth of them that came a year ago- even he talks better. He comes out of the shell. He definitely expresses more confidence and plays with more self-confidence. Duke is the same, even though this is his first spring. It was impressive.”

After the training on Thursday, Barclay, Brown and Watson took the time to meet the media. They discussed the beginning of the spring training, the Breakout season for Brown and Watson last season, how space has made progress overall and much more.
