CICC warns the public of claims

The cyber crime examination and the coordination center warned the public of people who claim that it could change the election results in exchange for a large sum of money.

In a statement, the CICC managing director Alexander Ramos said that the understanding of the automated electoral system for Eleksyon 2025 on May 12th was “too complex”. He denied the claim that the AES was too easy to chop.

Ramos said that the automated electoral system had three independent systems to ensure that the results were safe.

One of them is the machine application, which has been blocked and cannot be changed after programming.

The transmission is too complex to understand that there is a certain time in which it can establish a connection and where it can combine in a virtual private network. Encrypted files pass a seven -layer security test at the receiving end. The servers only receive data packages with around 220 kB encrypted file of registered IP and devices in its system.

The consolidation server is programmed in such a way that only encrypted files are received. The key is kept in Banko Senral NG Pilipinas.

“It has a SHA 256 encryption whose hash codes are published and cannot be duplicated. Any attempt to change files or changes in the process automatically change the hash codes,” says the instruction.

The CICC in particular asked the candidates to report individuals or groups who offer to change the election results to the CICC hotline 1326.

Ramos submitted the declaration according to the election commission (Comelec) by Task Force Katotohanan, catatan in Katarungan (KKK), SA Halalan, a cybercriminic complaint against Isabela Vice Mayor of Elekyon 2025.

In a statement, Respicio claimed that the complaint had been submitted because he “revealed” the weaknesses of the election machines.

“Kinasuhan Ako Ng Comelec Dahil Sa Facebook Video Kung Saan Inilahad Ko Ang Malubhang Kahinaan Ng Voting machines,” he said.
