Clearwater Marine Aquarium Reha, published 15 sea turtles • St. Pete -Catalyst

Fifteen adolescents were released on Thursday by employees and volunteers from the Clearwater Marine Aquarium to the Atlantic, where the animals have been in rehabilitation quartants since December.

The nine green turtles and six Kemps Ridleys were cold, which was due to the cold or fast -loving sea temperatures. Reptiles are cold -blooded and low temperatures, they can make lethargic or immobile, which leads to dehydration and hunger.

The Ridley of the Kemps is a critically supported turtle; 12 cold -controlled young people were saved from the waters in front of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. The New England Aquarium delivered her to rehab and approval after Clearwater. After the rehabilitation, four were released in early February.

The Whitney Marine Labor from St. Augustine also sent 12 green turtles – also relatively often in the Atlantic and Caribbean, and is also listed as an endangered species for the rehabilitation center in Clearwater.

After the 15 turtles in Anastasia St. Park near St. Augustine have been viewed medically healthy enough to return to the wilderness.
