Clock: Replacement teacher who is accused of having overturned Prince George's Co. Teen during class

A substitute teacher in Prince George's County is examined after a fight that was caught in front of the camera in Samuel P. Massie Academy in Samuel P. Massie in Forestville on Tuesday morning.

The 13-year-old student was brought to an urgent care facility in Largo to be checked out and treated. At that time she is doing well, but she still has a number of tests, including a possible concussion after the incident that took place in her eighth grade classroom.

The 13-year-old suffocates, struck down

What she says:

Cassidy and her mother both spoke to Fox 5 and said they were still tumbling after the teenager had violently captured a desk by the substitute teacher.

“He grabbed me on the chest and neck and banged me on the desk as he suffocates me,” said Cassidy.

She says moments before the traumatizing attack, she was sitting at her desk and watching a film on her cell phone after completing her reading task.

“I was on my cell phone for the last 10 minutes before he shot my cell phone,” said Cassidy.

In the video you can see the replacement grave Cassidy's cell phone from your hand and hold her from her.

“I continued to reach for my phone and he kept pulling it back,” said Cassidy. “I put his shirt on, because why did you have my cell phone?”

And before she knew it, the teacher put his hands on her and hit her on a desk.

“I got up and he reached for my chest and things and he pulled me away,” she said.

In the video you can see a number of students who try to pull the teacher of her. According to Cassidy, a school administrator and a deputy headmaster also ran in the classroom when they heard how the students scream for help.

Parents, school react

What you say:

Cassidy's mother Anitra Lang is still shocked.

“I was sick in my stomach to see that an adult adult felt comfortable enough when he put his hands, not only for a child, but a 13-year-old woman and she beat around like a cloth,” said Lang. “I am not only afraid because of my child's security, but also because of the other students at school.”

In a letter to families, the director of the Samuel Massie Academy, Brandi Smith, “this behavior does not correspond to the standards that we consider for our employees and students” and added that “the employee involved was removed from the pending classroom the examination. ”

“He is a teacher,” said Lang. “These are the people we should trust with the security of our students.”

Lang wants to do more – in particular, she wants the teacher to be charged and says she believes that this is child abuse.

The school says that “disciplinary measures are taken on the basis of the results”. Fox 5 also asked whether the teacher was on administrative leave. PGCPS says that you cannot share this information with us at this time.
