
The head coach of Tennessee Baseball, Tony Vitello, met with the media after the 10-0 run of the Vols of the 10-0 series against Florida in Knoxville.
Vitello shared his thoughts on Marcus Phillips' complete game shutout, a 7th inning with nine runs, a great defensive day from the team and more.

“Improvement,” said Vitello about what phillips noticed in his excursion. “What was the case. Last year it would come in grapes, or maybe the graphic would be a little more scattered. There was a constant improvement this year. I could break it down, it's a long list of small things, but they all pose to see who he is as a teammate, person and competitor and obviously pitcher.
“And I look forward to him because I think he can – they will give up runs and give up hits – but I'm looking forward to him because I think that it has passed here for years where he will continue.”
