Clock: Trump says we are no longer woken up.

During his speech on March 4, President Donald Trump announced a list of his early achievements to a joint congress meeting.

Among them were his return to Office for federal workers, the withdrawal from the UN Human Rights Council, the name Gulf of Mexico in the “Golf of America” ​​and his latest executive regulation, which commissioned English as civil servants.

“Our country is no longer waking up,” said Trump. “We believe whether you are a doctor, an accountant, a lawyer or an air traffic controller, you should not be set and promoted to breed or gender based on skills and competence.”

However, the first speech of Trump's second term in office is an opportunity for the president, legislative priorities and early achievements.

Trump has applied for some of his campaign promises with Breakneck speed and signed more than 75 management orders in just over a month. Thousands of federal workers were released on the management of the Ministry of Government Efficiency and Trump Advisor and billionaire Elon Musk.

Almost half of the Americans in the latest PBS News/NPR/Marist survey has disapproved of Trump's work performance so far, but his approval rate is 45 percent higher than at any time of his first term. While 54 percent of the Americans believe that the country is going in the wrong direction, 45 percent believe that the country is on the right track, a 10-point jump from December 2024.
