“We are pleased to announce the publication of .NET Aspire 9.1!” Maddy Montaquila, Senior Product Manager. “This version includes several new functions and improvements in the quality of life based on feedback from developers who use .NET Aspire in production applications.”

In the version, several improvements are introduced to improve developer experience and application management. Remarkable updates include an improved onboarding experience with the support of Github Codespatens and developer containers, which enable a seamless setup and the development in cloud-based environments. The dashboard now has resource relationships and nested resources to clarify dependencies. With overwriting the localization, users can determine the dashboard language regardless of the browser settings, and expanded filter options enable the sorting of resources by type, condition and health. Extended resource details provide deeper insights into configurations, including references and volume -mount types. In addition, developers can configure CORS for user -defined local domains, improve telemetry integration and now offer console protocols download options and ANSI color circuits for improved readability.

These updates improve monitoring, debugging and resource visualization in cloud native .NET applications.

Some important updates include:

  • Improved onboarding experience
    • Support GITHUB CODESPACE and DEV container: .NET Aspire 9.1 introduces templates that are compatible with Github Codespatens and Visual Studio Code Dev Containers and are activated seamless cloud-based development environments.
  • Dashboard improvements
    • Resource relationships: The dashboard now visually represents parent-child relationships between resources, e.g. B. a postgreSQL instance with several databases, which improves clarity in resource management.
    • Localization overwrites: Users can set the dashboard language regardless of their browser settings and offer a more personal experience.
    • Advanced filtering: New filters enable the sorting of resources by type, state and health as well as streamlines of navigation and surveillance.
    • Extended resourceendils: Additional information is now displayed in the details area, including references, return references and volume -Mount types, whereby deeper insights into the resource configurations are offered.
    • Clear protocols and telemetry: With new options, users can delete console protocols, structured protocols, traces and metrics directly from the dashboard and facilitate a cleaner work area during development and tests.
  • Additional functions
    • CORS support for custom local domains: Developers can configure cross-original resource release (CORS) so that the dashboard can receive the telemetry of browser applications on custom local domains, which facilitates integrated surveillance.
    • Flexible console protocols: The console protocol page now contains options for downloading protocols for the external analysis and switching of Ansi color codes, improvement in readability and diagnosis.
    • Improved Docker integration: Improvements in Docker support simplify the development and provision of container applications.
