Coast guard saves the woman who is in the Oregon River: Watch video


A lifeguard saved the woman about helicopters. She was taken to a local hospital.

The film material shows the gripping rescue of a 71-year-old woman whose car was in a turbulent river in Oregon.

The vehicle fell last week on March 5th in the McKenzie River near Springfield, and according to the office of the sheriff of the Lane County, several agencies reacted to the scene. On arrival, officials said that the woman was captured in her vehicle.

“The reaction was complicated by flooding, darkness, darkness and the precarious location of the vehicle, which in the middle of the McKenzie River on a ledge,” remarked the sheriff's office.

The woman's sunroof broke the lifeguard to help her flee

During the mission, the MPs contacted the US Coast Guard to get help. In the video, a lifeguard, which was identified by local news as Tyler Gantt, hits from a helicopter, extracts the woman out of the vehicle and brings her to safety.

Gantt said Kcby that his water training had helped him during the unique rescue mission. He used an ax to break through the woman's sliding roof.

“As soon as the glass was cleared, I heard from the inside pattle- not knowing whether the driver was alive or not. That told me that it was alive, and that was great,” said Gantt. “I got a hand under the visor that torn from the frame of the vehicle, and there she was sitting in the driver's seat.”

According to civil servants, the woman was taken to a local hospital and the incident is examined.

Springfield is about five miles from Eugene.
