Coffee County Man was arrested because he supposedly shared explicit video without consent

Douglas, Ga. (Walb) – A Douglas man was arrested after publishing an explicit video of a woman on social media without her consent.

According to the Douglas, a woman now told officials on March 1, 2025 that Benny Bolen, 44, from Douglas, had shared the video without her permission on Facebook. She told the deputy that she was not aware of the recording and that Bolen had not given permission to publish her. After the complaint, the video was removed from the platform.

Although Bolen was not found on the day the report was submitted, it was arrested on March 6, 2025.

He is charged with computer pornography and child prevention law. Bolen is currently being held in the Coffee County prison.
