Coin flip for the decision of the Sec tournament seed after South Carolina, Texas, wins

After the regular season, a tie between Texas No. 1 and No. 6 South Carolina for the SEC women's basketball champion of the SEC -Frauen -Basketball masters ended. The number 1 of the overall sowing for the SEC tournament is determined by a coin talent.

The SEC Commissioner Greg Saney will perform the coin toss with a custom-made coin during the half-time of the LSU Ole Miss game on Sunday, which contains the logos for both schools.

The three Tiebreaker scenarios to determine the No. 1 seed of the SEC are:

  • Head-to-head results (Texas and South Carolina Split, 1-1)
  • Results of the two teams against the highest seed (both teams were unbeaten against the rest of the conference)
  • Minting

Both teams ended the regular season with 15: 1 in the Sec, with their only defeats coming to each other. At the first meeting of the teams, Texas lost a defeat of 17 points in Columbia in mid-January. The Longhorns returned the favor when the Gamecocks Austin visited in February and scored a four-point victory, which South Carolina's 57-game profit ended in the regular season.

The SEC tournament from 2025 begins on March 5 in Greenville, SC, and both No. 1 and No. 2 seeds receive the first and second round and will only play on March 7. No. 1 plays six hours earlier than number 2 in this quarter -final round.

The SEC is not only when using a coin tunnel to determine the sowing. The NFL has a coin tower as part of its Tiebreaker procedure for division relationships in front of the NFL playoffs, but it is the 12th option. Before the NFL arrives in the coin tower, it looks at the interior of games played in the division in the games played in the games played in the games

The NBA also has lengthy tie-breaker criteria if the two bound teams were the same in head-to-head results, including profit percentages within the department, conference, playoff qualification teams and statistical facets (point difference). The WNBA also outlines several criteria for a tiebreak situation when the head-to-head result is the same, including the profit against more than over 0.500 teams, the point differential in head-to-head games and point differential (net) against all opponents.
