Ernest Bowker is the sports editor of Vicksburg Post. He has been a member of the Vicksburg Post sports staff since 1998 and is therefore one of the longest reporters in the 140-year history of the newspaper. The native New Jersey is a graduate of the LSU. In his career, he received more than 50 awards from the Mississippi Press Association and Associated Press for his reporting on local sports in Vicksburg.
