Comstock township consider to replace the total fire engine engine

Comstock township, me. – Officials from the municipality of Comstock plan to discuss the opportunity to buy a new fire engine at their next board meeting.

According to the agenda of the meeting, the Commission members will consider the purchase of a new truck for the fire brigade.

Chef Matt Beauchamp told Fox 17 that the truck would replace you who was hit on the I-94 east of the Sprinkle Road in December. We announced a driver who lost control and hit several emergency vehicles that reacted to a separate crash.

The boss estimates that a new fire engine would cost more than 1 million US dollars. The department's insurer is expected to cover most costs.

If the board members agree to a new fire engine, the boss can be able to buy a next week. However, the fire brigade had to wait until August or September before it arrives.

If Comstock Fire & Rescue cannot receive a generic truck, Chief Beauchamp could either wait another month or place an order on a custom truck that can take three to four years to meet it.
