Concacaf Champions Cup round 16: schedule and games

The Concacaf Champions Cup is due to its last 16 teams, with some of the strongest teams in North America and the Caribbeans the field to fight the largest tournament in the region.

In the first round of the competition, 11 teams climbed into the 16th round and competed in the five prepared teams, who had received an automatic qualification in the last season thanks to the continental or domestic success.

Seven MLS sites and six league -MX clubs have still been in dispute. However, there are only two rounds of 16 ties that match the teams from both leagues. Liga MX has dominated the competition for the vast majority of the 21st century and won the tournament 20 times since 2000. However, the gap between the two leagues shrinks that this edition is one of the most competitive.

The 16th round is played in a two -legged series at home. The first leg takes place from March 4th to 6th, and the decisive second legs are planned for March 11th to 13th. In contrast to most European competitions, the Concacaf Champions Cup still uses the away goal.
