Coolmore and Godolphin dominate when Guineas is published

The entries for the first two British classics of the season were published, with 57 horses being entered in the Betfred 2,000 Guineas and another 43 in the Betfred 1,000 Guineas.

Aidan O'Brien is responsible for eight possible runners because he is looking for a record -proof eleventh success in the 2,000 Guineas, which is due to take place in Newmarket on Saturday, May 3. Wimbledon Hawkeye (GB) (Kameko) is another key member of the home team as the winner of the G2 Royal Lodge Stakes in this course and the distance, while Cosmic year (GB) (Kingman {gb}) and Heights -T -shirt (IRE) (Persian king (ire}) showed a lot of potential when they won their only two -year starts in Sandown or Newmarket.

In Ireland, G1 -Futurity Trophy winner Hotazhell (GB) (Too damn hot {GB}) and G1 National Stakes goal scorer Sanner champion (IRE) (Mahmas (ire}) may be the selection of those who are trained outside of Ballydoyle, which is leaving Mi Bago (Vekoma) as the sole entry in Great Britain or Ireland. Trained by Mark Casse in the USA, he was last won the listed Colonel Liam Stakes in Gulfstream on Saturday.

Victoriasee (IRE)One of the leading competitors for the 1,000 Guinen on Sunday, May 4th, will be a familiar name in the United States after their victory in the Juvenilies Fillies by Gi Breeders 'Cup in November at Del Mar in the Gi Breeders' Cup. That was her third victory in a row at the top level after winning the Moyglare Stud Stakes and the Cheveley Park Stakes.

The daughter of Frankel (GB) is one of eight entries for O'Brien in the 1,000 Guinenen, with the others, including the heroine G2 Rockfel Stakes Bubble (ire) (No no), G3 Albany Stakes winner Fairy podin (IRE) (Night of the thunder (ire}) and G1 Prix Marcel Boussac third Exactly (IRE) (Frankel {GB}).

Appleby and Godolphin were able to represent the stiffest opposition to the Ballydoyle team again, mainly with Desert flower (IRE) (Night of the thunder (ire}), who was in four, begins as a teenager and culminated with a wide margin in the mile of the G1 Futh. It is from the winter (IRE) (Galileo {ire}), which won the 2017 edition of the 1,000 Guineas.
