Could a recently published defensive star the line fights of the cowboys fix fix fix fix?

After an outbreak performance in 2024, it is predicted that OSA Odightizuwa is in motion. This means that the Dallas Cowboys remain only a few trustworthy options in defensive tackle.

That is why they are associated with players like Walter Nolen in the NFL design of 2025. But you should not be satisfied with simply adding a beginner to the mix.

The good news for Dallas is that you may have been given an excellent option in front of the free agency. Sheldon Rankins, who spent the Cincinnati Bengals in 2024, was announced that he would be released and sent him to the open market.

Rankins is a rounded option that the talent has to start on 3-tech and devastate against opposing crimes. Unfortunately, he was also hindered by injuries.

A broken fibula in 2016, an Achilles in the 2018 playoffs and the expenditure of ankles in 2019 limited his early years with the New Orleans Saints, where he spent his first five seasons. In 2021, he signed with the New York Jets and played a rotation role for two seasons, but was out of the way by a distributed elbow.

Rankins only played seven games and recorded 18 duels and a sack before he was released in February 2025 after fighting injuries and illnesses, including the time on the list of reserve/non-football disease.

In nine seasons, Rankins achieved 156 solo two -battles, 30.5 sacks and 43 duels against losses. He also experienced seven playoff games in the post -season.

The 30-year-old has the call as a capable Inside Pass-Rusher when he is healthy and can help the cowboys if they are added to the squad. His history of injury is a problem, but it is also the reason why he could fall into the team's price range.
