A Turkish man who lost his home through a terrible earthquake in 2023 has been living in a small cave alone for two years. He said the reason that he sees caves as a safer than any artificial structure.

Fortunately, his whole family survived, but the catastrophe left him deeply and scared him of future earthquakes. As a result, he decided not to live in an artificial building again. Instead, he found a small and peaceful cave on the outskirts of his city and turned it into a cozy home.

However, he could not convince his family to join him, so he lives alone. Nevertheless, Ali claims that he is happy and in peace. The report also mentioned that the governor of the district's district, after hearing about his life documents, provided a cozy container house closer to the city. However, Ali prefers his life from the hustle and bustle. He also said he had learned to appreciate the calm of his small cave.

Ali admits that sole life is not easy, but he got used to the challenges he faces. Since the cave is a natural shelter that stays warm in winter and is cool in summer, it attracts snakes and rodents, but it has adapted.

He also wants to have access to a real toilet and running water, but that seems impossible. However, he plans to install solar modules to supply his washing machine and refrigerator with electricity. But even if his plans do not work, it insists that he will never give up the comfort of his cave for a man caused by humans, the report added.
