Court documents describe the investigation of 2024 Tecumseh murder murder

Topeka, Kan. (Wibw) – According to court documents that were achieved by 13 news, a Tecumseh woman killed last autumn was drowned.

An affidavit from the Shawnee district court states that an autopsy drown, strangulation and several cases of blunt force trauma as the main cause of the death of 50-year-old Monica McKay on November 28, 2024.

Detective also reported to find clothes that could be guided as a single outfit through the laundry and the signs of a fight outside near McKay's phone.

McKay's alienated husband, 53-year-old Brian McKay, is accused of death. He is charged with the first degree murder and the document state was granted about a month before Monica's death due to violation of a protection arrangement. The affidavit also lists suspicious Internet search inquiries that were found under the accounts of Brian McKay, and the signs that he had traveled from Monica at home on the day.
