After Coroner Cunninghame had heard extensive evidence, Coroner needed some time to make her formal decision.

“Sincere had mentioned” Schwarz “in Gloriavale the year before his death. By this he intentionally meant his respiratory tract to breathe for a short time, ”said the forensic doctor.

“The court heard evidence that young people played” blacking games “in Gloriavale, especially boys in school,” blacking games “… a trend in which children are usually involved in which the person either compressed their own neck or by a friend until they have passed on, until they are wasted. “In Gloriavale this was usually carried out in pairs … On other occasions, one person would be black in front of others. Witnesses suggested that the attraction of the black was the resulting header of being temporarily withdrawn oxygen. “

A Gloriavale member told the forensic doctor: “It was like an adrenaline junkie junkie.”

She said that there were evidence that some in Gloriavale met each other during sexual activity.

There was nothing she suggested that Stamprue had ever done – or even heard of practice.

After Coroner Cunninghame considered a number of scenarios as suicide, he ruled death as accidental.

“The evidence is clear that Sincere was aware of the blackness,” she said.

“In terms of his age, the interests and attitudes of Sincere were behind that of his colleagues. His interest in the blackness continued after others had apparently grown out of practice.

“While more sincerely was accepted than dangerous or ruthless, he was known impulsively.

“In addition … he thought, if he expresses himself, he would breathe again, which indicates that he may not have thought out the risks that are inherent in the activity.

“I am satisfied that Since's death was an accident that occurred in the course of him to rave about himself.”

Forensic doctor Cunningham said there was no evidence that his death had taken place in the course of sexual activity.

But she said there was another factor in the game – leukoencephalopathy caused by exposure to solvents.

The Coron Cunninghame gave Gloriaval's executives several recommendations and aimed to prevent similar incidents in the future.

She asked the managers to “work together with those who are responsible for the elucidation of young people” to ensure that guidelines, guidelines or resources from the Ministry of Education are distributed in Gloriavale.

“What I am satisfied is that sincere solvents was exposed to,” she continued.

“For this reason, I am convinced that it is appropriate to give recommendations with regard to the storage of solvents and awareness of security when using.

Coroner Cunninghame ended her decision by remembering a video of Stamprue that was produced for the examination of his parents.

It showed that the young man “amused with his siblings and participated in life” in Gloriavale.

The parents of Stamprues gave an explanation to the Herald After the deciding of the forensic doctor.

She left the Christian community in 2021 and was part of a case against Gloriavale before the labor court in Christchurch.
