Crews who react to brush fire in Sevier County, evacuation notification for Bluff Mountain Community

Sevier County, Tenn. – A brush fire initiated an evacuation notification for parts of the Bluff Mountain Community on Tuesday evening, according to the Sheriff's Office of the Sevier County.

The sheriff's office said that the emergency staff reacted to the brush fire on the Bluff Mountain Road. It asked the people in the areas of the Tower Road, Green Top Road and the Horse Gap Road to evacuate. It also said that the people in the Bluff Mountain area remain aware of the fire risk and the strong winds in the area.

The Tennessee Division of Forestry said the fire was reported around 8:32 p.m.
