A homeowner has divided the Internet after shaping her DIY renovation project.

The woman decided to give one of her room a modern look when she turned him into her home office.

In her viral video, Tikok user Ashley (@Mrsashleyfrench) collected 2.1 million views and an internet debate.

She filmed the process when she renovated her place to create a home office.

For her first step, she removed a “huge mirror” that took up an entire wall in the room.

Ashley revealed that numerous people did not pull them down because it is worth a lot of money.

However, it did not fit into their vision, so they removed it and their partner and explained that “the joke was on us”.

“Behind the mirrors was an old ugly wallpaper wall picture and tons of black adhesives that held up the mirror,” she said.

The DIY expert showed her audience the colorful template under the mirrors.

Then she filmed the process of peeling the wallpaper and adding a primer coat.

Ashley opted for the color of the office for a “moody dark blue”.

She also installed new custom cupboards and added a beadboard accent wall and new sockets.

For the last grade they installed a statement gold Overhead Light function.

“Our new office was completed, now this room is actually being used,” said Ashley when she showed the finished look.

Tikok users were divided into the renovation project and their thoughts in the comment area were passed on.
