Criminals with extensive crime history, which are charged with several burglaries on Christmas Day

Salt Lake City – A man with a history of break -in into companies and houses is charged for four burglaries that took place on Christmas night.

According to court documents, the Farmington police responded to three reports on December 26, 2024, in which companies were collapsed overnight in a complex shopping center near 720 W. Shepard Lane.

Safety material from the area showed a white Ford van with a camping trailer to the parking lot of the shopping center. According to court documents, the driver, who was later identified as Justin Erin Nuzman (50), got out of the car with a crowbar in his hand.

The Farmington police reported that two of the shops had similar damage to how Hinterntoors were open and searched. A company said his corporate credit card was stolen and used six times with a total of 319 US dollars.

A total of 270 US dollars in cash were stolen by the two companies.

According to court documents, the third company did not report stolen objects. However, it received damage worth almost 20,000 US dollars.

The Centerville police also reacted to a break -in on December 26 near 600 N. 800 West. Safety material showed a white Ford van with a camping trailer parking lot next to the shop, whereby Nuzman left it and used a crowbar to open the door door.

Other burglars

According to court documents, the authorities of Davis and Salt Lake County found that Nuzman had broken into six additional shops from November to January. Each company reported similar damage that a door open and safety material was opened by Nuzman and its white Ford van.

Two business owners reported fraud fees for credit cards from companies of around 2,500 US dollars. The companies in which the cards were used showed that Nuzman used the stolen cards according to court documents.

Nuzman arrested

On January 23, the investigators of Davis County Nuzmans found White Ford van and Camping Trailer on Cherry Hill Campground.

According to court documents, the police called everyone to leave the camping trailer. Nuzman, a three -year -old child, and two other adults left the trailer and showed the police.

“According to the officials, there were substances and drug utensils (baggies and scales),” all over the trailer, “says court documents. “The medication, including methamphetamine, marijuana and prescription medication, were within reach of the child of the child of the small, closed room within reach.”

During his time in police custody, Nuzman waved his Miranda rights and informed the detectives that he had the White Ford van and the camping trailer. He also said he was “just getting out heroin and
that things were “foggy” after court documents.

Fees and history

Court documents stated that Nuzman was released on probation in October due to a 2020 crime defense case. Records show that Nuzman has 22 earlier arrests with 14 convictions from 2005.

According to court documents, Nuzman in Davis County was charged with four-degree criminal accusations of the third degree for break-in and a second degree due to damage to property under $ 5,000.

In Salt Lake County, Nuzman was charged:

  • Two third degree crimes due to illegal possession of a financial card,
  • Two offenses of the class B due to illegal use of a financial card below $ 500,
  • A third degree criminal offense for burglary,
  • A third degree criminal offense for theft between $ 1,500 and $ 4,999,
  • A third degree criminal offense for the illegal use of a financial card 1,500 USD and $ 4,999,
  • A second degree criminal offense for property damage below $ 5,000,
  • And a class injury to break in a vehicle.

Nuzman was also charged in Davis County due to break -in, theft, threat to a child, property damage below 500 US dollars in road rage, possession or use of a controlled substance and possession of drug utensils, but these charges were fallen according to court documents.
