DACHLECK -IMPACT -Bibliothek | Pakenham Officer Star News

From Afraa Kori

The Pakenham library has interrupted a roof leak and the employees have closed the affected areas since Friday, March 7th.

Peter Benazic, General Manager infrastructure and environment of the Cardinia Shire Council, were taken to solve the problem, with the focus on safety and minimizing disorders.

“The Cardinia Shire Council is currently carrying out repairs to the air conditioning in the Pakenham Library after we have been drawn to a DACH LOOK on Friday evening.

“As soon as the Council has been made aware of the problem, we agree that our contractor will investigate and make the area safe.

“The contractor found a leak in two of the air conditioning systems on the roof and isolated the switch for these two units until repairs could be carried out. Repairs are expected to be completed by Thursday. The library continues to operate while repair work is completed. “

Deputy CEO of Myli – My Community Library, Bernadette Kennedy, encourages everyone to not prevent and learn this temporary setback.

“The Pakenham library remains open and ready to welcome our community. We all invite you to visit our collection, enjoy our programs and to optimally use our rooms. Our team is here to offer the same great service you know and love. ”

Michael Bodey, Pakenham residents, described the library more than just one place for books and called it a “meeting point” where he can connect to others and seek help from the employees.

“The staff helps me when I have a problem with the photo opator and scanning documents or have sent them to e -mail or whatever. Overall, however, the library is a very good facility, ”he said.

Despite the recent disorders, he regularly visits the library's services for essential tasks.

“At the moment everything is fine for me. I was there last week to print a bank degree. I'll go there again before going to Japan on vacation. I will use it. “
