Dallas rapper clears the air over a current viral music video with the Mavericks

Dorrough said that the silhouettes of the video were not placed over Luka at all.

Dallas, Texas – if you come from Dallas, you may know the name Dorrough.

The rapper and the hip-hop star are known for his hit tracks “Ice Cream Paint Job” and “Walk the Walk”. He has repeatedly recorded his hometown and home teams.

“I'm a Mavericks fan, it was for life,” said Dorrough. “I was a little child in Maverick's jerseys before we were still good.”

His loyalty to the team even led him to work with the MAVs in a Hype song, but this latest project made no headlines from which he had expected.

On Friday, the official X account of the Mavericks published a music video created by Dorrough's team. The video should exceed the fan base. Instead, it triggered online controversy.

“I get calls that it is on sports center and everywhere,” said Dorrough. “It was very different. None of this was intended. “

Many fans assumed that Luka Dončić had been deliberately deleted, but Dorrough set the record.

“After the Luka trade took place, we obviously knew that we had to take all Luka clips out,” he said.

Instead, the silhouettes of the video were transmitted via players such as Quentin Grimes and Maxi Kleber – not Luka. In fact, every clip from Luka was completely removed to avoid confusion.

“I understand the outrage of the fans and it will probably be there for a while,” he said. “Even at the moment when I see Luka in a Lakers jersey, it just doesn't even look real.”

Luka sees how fate would do it for the first time since the trade. You will play again in Dallas on April 9th. Dorrough wishes him all the best, but makes it clear where his loyalty is.

“We still have a dominant Mavericks team. Shoutout to Kyrie, Klay, PJ Washington and AD, ”said Dorrough. “The Mavs are still the Mavs.”

Dallas may have lost Luka, but his passion for the team does not go anywhere.
