Daniel High School Cheffussball coaches to resign, says the school

Central, SC (Fox Carolina) – The Daniel High School announced that the head coach Jeff Fruster is withdrawing from his role.

According to the school, the decision was made in collaboration with his family and marks the conclusion of an “incredible coaching office that has sustainably on Daniel Lions's football program”.

“The commitment of Coach Fruster for our student athletes and the culture of excellence he promoted will have a lasting heritage,” said Ben Touchberry, Sports Director of Daniel High School. “We are incredibly grateful for his leadership and the countless hours he poured into this program. The Daniel High School and our sports department were extremely blessed to have this incredible journey with coach subject. “

In 2006 under coach Randy Robinson as a LineBacker coach to the trainers of Daniel and at the same time taught business courses, the school said. He later took on the role of the head coach of the JV team and the Varsity Defensive Coordinator before being appointed head coach in 2016. In the last nine seasons, Frustrre has led the Lions to six regional championships (2019-2024) and three state titles (2020, 2021, 2023). His leadership contributed to consolidating Daniel's call as one of South Carolina's leading football programs.

While he writes back from his head coaching role, coach Fruster remains in the teaching staff of Daniel High School.

“Coach Fruster was more than a trainer – he was a mentor, a role model and a constant presence for our students,” said Adam Russell, headmaster of Daniel High School. “Our young people are lucky because 'Coach' taught them to be successful in life beyond football.
