Date Festival drives the last weekend with rodeos, tribute shows

The 77th annual festival in Riverside County Fair and National Date will be its last weekend on Saturday.

The gates are to be opened on Saturday at 10 a.m. on the Riverside County Fairground on 82-503 Highway 111. The main attraction of the day is 5:30 p.m. PrCA Pro Rodeo, a festival main support.

The festival will be completed on Sunday with tribute appearances to Toby Keith and Carrie Underwood.

“If you still had no chance of experiencing this fantastic event, you miss it,” said Supervisor V. Manuel Perez in an explanation of the fourth district. “This festival is a true celebration of the culture and spirit of our community, and it is still time to create permanent memories of loved ones before it ends.”
