Date Festival goes into the last day with a few tribute shows

The 77th annual Festival of Riverside County Fair and National Date will be completed on Sunday.

Gates will open at 10 a.m. on the Riverside County Fairground on 82-503 Highway 111. The main attraction of the day is a few tribute performances to Toby Keith and Carrie Underwood.

The celebrations on Sunday will follow the PrCA Rodeo shows on Friday and Saturday, a festival main support, which achieved his long-awaited return.

“If you still had no chance of experiencing this fantastic event, you miss it,” said Supervisor V. Manuel Perez in an explanation of the fourth district. “This festival is a true celebration of the culture and spirit of our community, and it is still time to create permanent memories of loved ones before it ends.”

The event of several weeks already contained a blessing for the date ceremony, Monster Trucks, a demolition derby, Mariachi bands and a Grand Parade of the President – completely with a brand new route. With regular schedules from Thursday to Sunday and the Extended Presidents' Day Weekend, the 13-day festival took three days longer than the iteration of last year.

This year the digital marquee, decorative fences and landscaping upgrades are back in front of the exhibition center.
