Deadly shooting in the Handleery Hotel in San Diego leaves 1 dead

Around 8:20 p.m., the witnesses reported the shootout in the Handleery Hotel in the 950 Hotel Circle North.

San Diego – A fatal shooting outside the Handleery Hotel in the Hotel Circes on March 3, 2025 left a man and one injured. The suspicious, 29-year-old Kevin Larin was arrested shortly after the incident.

Around 8:20 p.m., the witnesses reported the shootings in the hotel in the 950 Hotel Circle North. Officers arrived to find a 19-year-old Hispanic man in an interior after suffering a gunshot wound on his upper body. His identity is held back until the family notification.

A second victim, a 23-year-old Hispanic man, was found outside the hotel lobby with a gunshot wound on his upper body. He was taken to a local hospital, but is expected to survive.

The investigators quickly found a dark F-1550 truck on the hotel car park, where they arrested larin without incidents. He was instructed in the San Diego County prison for murder.
